I got "The Forgotten 500" today.
Has anyone read it, if so, is it a good one?

Nope, haven't read that one

I just bought the Glenn Beck book "An Inconvenient Book".  Its laid out like a high school text book.  I find the format terrible, too much distraction per page...but his actual text/thoughts are quite good.  Its too bad he chose this format/style.

trying to remember the name of the movie they made not too long ago about that,(if it is the same story) was it the one were they go rescue the POW'S from the japanese camp before the japanese kill them all? i know that was based on a true story from WW-2

The Great Raid?
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Moartea bolșevicilor.

I don't know the movie but I believe it was a part of the Doolittle raid.

I Second Treize on WWhiskeys choice but don't think it's the same story...maybe I'm wrong.
And there was nothing like this associated with the Doolittle raid as far as I know.  Treize?

Nothing to do with the Doolittle Raid (Pearl Harbor), but the movie in question is The Great Raid.

100% correct that you're talking about "The Great Raid."

That is indeed one of the greatest stories.  Stories from all of those camps there are just amazing. I've got an awesome book (which I've LOST and am furious) called We Band of Angels ~ about a group of Army & Navy Nurses who were held captive... and all that they went through until their release.  It's one of the greatest stories of any group of people I've ever read.  Dang, where on EARTH did I lose that book at?????????
