Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers....not bad...not great...but not bad.

They're head and shoulders above the trashy, thuggish, boob-baring, hip-hop clap-trap that has stunk up the half-times in recent years.

Definitely a step in the right direction. :aok

Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Best halftime show I've ever seen, it was like a mini Tom Petty concert.

Tom Petty is a good singer, but I think his style of music is way too mellow for a half-time show.  I would have preferred AC/DC or Metallica, or at least some hard rock band.

not a bad show.
I just wish they'd get rid of the paid fans around the stage and just let some of the real fans down there.

Bet half that group said "Tom who?" when they told them who they would be playing fanatics to

Or Prince...

Nice to see some talent, but definitely was not a high energy show

Tom's like 60 something.....that WAS high energy in his section of the Assisted Living Center.

I like Tom's music but I was rather bored. Needed a Britney Spears fat drunken lip-sync stuper to round it out and make it "2008".

:)
Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.

Yup.  Paul is getting old but he's still Paul...

Being a Paul and Beatle fanatic since I can remember, having him do the half time show gave me a smarmy sense of satisfaction.   Speaking of satisfaction, the Stones totally blew chunks.  They should have retired after "Tattoo You".
