Strafing:
look at the far left of the 1st pic you posted. There is a line that cuts the far left bike's tire in half...

Then if you look up, that line show's two different folliage colors, which may indicate a photoshopping of the people, or the plane...

But who knows :aok

I landed a 747 on that airport's 2,200 FT runway. That was FUN!

Yea, I see that but there is really no reason to photochop that side of the image. IMO that's just likely a goof from the image being saved one too many times.

If you notice the kid on the scooter ducking casts a proper shadow on the ground as does the mini. I mean of course anything can be faked I guess, but with all the corresponding photo's seems like it most likely happened IMHO.

I'm sticking with my original assessment about the fake. If the shadows on the ground are authentic then the plane's shadow should be blanketing the mini.

I'd say it's a fake or at least been messed with. I would guess the original photo would have had the Caravan in shot but a tad higher. Someone moved it down for dramatic effect.

I don't understand the point of it though. The REAL photos are spectacular enough. There's a youtube video somewhere shot from onboard one aircraft.

It might be that because of the time of day the airplanes shadow was out in front of the plane at that altitude.

I can't say if it's fake or not but the shadow wouldn't be on the mini. All the shadows are cast off to a left angle. They are not cast directly in front of the objects. There would be no shadow on the mini at that point, because the sunlight is coming from a right side angle.

It's possible someone could have lowered the plane in the picture, but I'm still inclined to believe it's real until I see a image that was used to fake it.

The second picture that Pooh21 posted  is someone trying to be funny with a photo chopped face. There is no shadow on the mini because you can see it's in direct sunlight and the sun is at a diffrent angle, you can also see the mini is casting a shadow that matches the rest.

zoom in on the mini's left shadow, clearly chopped in badly.

Something is definitely wrong with the picture, but I still think it's authentic.  From other pictures I've seen of the approach and videos of it as well, this doesn't seem that much of a stretch.  What's wrong though is that the moped is missing half of it's front wheel.
