When I get bored out of my mind I'll take a F4U4 with all fuel and provide high alt CAP over a CV.

I think just adding a second carrier to each group would help. Have it steam in a staggered formation with the first carrier so it's harder to line up for a single lancsuka run. It would also add an extra 5" and some more ack. Wouldn't require much work to impliment.
