Video card question

Will a PCI express2.0x16 fit in a normal pci express x16 slot? I'm looking to upgrade my video card and am not sure if 2.0x16 will work in a x16 slot?

Yes. PCIe ver 2.0 specs guarantee backward compatibilty for both the MB and card.
If you have ver 2 card and ver 1 MoBo, some features won't be supported and your max signaling rate will be of ver 1 (2.5GT/s).
