I agree with this, but gamers will be gamers and just up a Jeep at a rearward base and sit on concrete to accomplish the same thing.

Doesn't make sense to me? Why would you spawn a jeep to stay in-game when you're not going to be there? The war will still be raging when you get back, nothing special happening without you that you can't accomplish once you re-enter into the arena from the lobby.

If you're flying and AFK that's understandable, but AFK in the tower makes no sense. So I do support the idea. The only downside I can see here is the timers that have to work to determine who gets "das boot" and who doesn't.

Another reason might be to kick off those who go off to bed hoping for an arena reset and perkies. Nothing like trying to get the last of the bases down with a artifically high eny because of squatters.

I agree. If its not bad enough to have ENY issues, we cannot get into the arenas because of squatters. I dont care what your situation is. If you aint touchin controls in lets even say 45 minutes you need to go.

Obviously something out of Aces High needs your attention. Its like the kid who always took about 8 million gallons of water at the water foutain. Sheese let someone else have a chance.

Definately need to boot squatters after a given time.

This is one of those arguments that probly can't be settle for quite a while now. HT is still working on CT, plus finishing up the P-39 and La's, and has many more things to do probly. I don't think he has time to worry about people afk in tower for 2 hours, or arena caps right now.

Without the booting thing there will be people that go afk in tower beause they may have something that they have to do back in reality. Go pick the kids up at school for a dentist appointment, or maybe they're going to eat dinner. While they're afk the arena can be maxed out at 320/320, and someone just "has" to play on that arena but now can't (atleast until someone else leaves the arena).

With the booting thing someone has to go AFK, but doesn't want to get kicked for fear of not being avle to get back into the arena for a whole 5 minutes! So, they'll up a gv or plane at a back field and just sit there until they return. OR, maybe they go afk while still in tower and get kicked and can't get back into that arena. Now they'll come to the BB and whine about getting booted while eating dinner or some other thing.

I really don't see any way this can be resolved other than go to another arena for a few minutes.

Think about it in terms of whines created.

HT and company try their best to avoid whines.
Whines are a drag, they bring you down, mostly because they are the same old whines that you've heard a Bazillion times.

Now you want to change the coad so that if someone is not flying for half an hour they get kicked off, so YOU can get into the arena you want.

Can you hear the whines? Listen carefully.

They would be epic in proportion, and never ending.

Your asking HTC to boot off THEIR customers, so another customer can get into a arena that hes not in. HTC gains nothing, except more whines and a huge customer service headache.
