Smaller moon an sun

Default it looks like this:



Big, pixelated and ugly.IMO of course.

I resized the moon texture and put it onto my map and it looks much better, IMO.



Now please HT, it takes 2 mins to resize it.Sun and the moon are the ugliest part of this game atm, so large and unrealistic.

The moon and the sun angular size is about 1/2 a degree. How big is AH field of view in default zoom? This would help you get the size correctly. The sun actually appears a little bigger because it saturates you eyes.

It's a game.  Our big moon makes the game more romantic.
I'm so against this, it's not funny..  We're not getting some tiny invisible moon.  We already lost night, that's enough.

I prefer the large moon because it's something to look at. In this part of the country a harvest moon is rare, at least in AH I can look at one.:)

I haven't checked, but IIRC the stars are accurately modeled. If Croduh were right the moon would have been the right size in the first place.
