You can have all the ammo you want offline ZetaNine. Have at it..

If this happened in the online areas even for a second, I wouldn't play that night.

This idea has always and will always work great in the memory of H2H, but never for the online arenas.

a) this isnt anything that interests me...it's meant to increase sales.

If you can't get a kill with 800 rounds of the strongest 20mm in the game (C-hog) or 3400 rounds of super-accurate 50cal (P-47s) or 2400 rounds of 50cal (F4us) or 780 rounds of 20mm AND 950 rounds of 13mm (basically 50cal) in the 190A8, or 360 rounds of 30mm (262) or 900 rounds of 20mm in the N1K2

If you can't do any of those, I'm sorry. You fail. Turn in your joystick and go play quake. These are the levels in-game NOW, with 1x multipliers in effect.

If you suck so bad you can't get a kill with enough ammo to demolish your hometown, no amount of lame-arse gimmicky crutches (i.e. unlimited ammo) is going to help you.

Might I suggest internet checkers?

That's the sound of my point going over your head, I see.

This isn't FighterAce. This isn't IL2. This game is one of the more realistic games out there. Taking away that very aspect of it would LOSE more long-time devoted players that love the gameplay, than it would ATTRACT short-time disinterested arcade gamers.

Zeta, in the case you haven't noticed yet. This idea won't come to fruition. Mainly because everyone would be complaining about VansCrew vulching them while he's busy taking out the town, all in one sortie.
