I loved it. Sitting in M-16s along runways Ive seen some amazing landings but I dont think Ive ever seen one that good.

Do note that Raptor is showing great skill in completing his landing roll with the drop tanks still on. This is the sign of a true veteran P38 pilot. Also note that the rudders are missing as are both wings outside of the engines and he too has lit the fire as a guide for any other 38s looking to get home.

Looks like a ballet class ending with mangled ankles.

So awful -but somehow so unbelievably artistic it almost looks beautiful.

This is most excellent -- note from the tire smoke trails that Mensa's P-38 is travelling backward in this shot, hopping on one tire. This is masterful -- perhaps even beyond the skill of Tony LeVier. The maneuver definitely needs its own name, maybe something like the "Iron Lotus".
