I once ran across a website that had compiled alot, if not all, of the 'end of the world ' dates since the beginning of civilizations.

You could read about the group/cult/religion, what they believed, and most amusingly what they did when the date came and went without global incident.


It also pointed out how the smarter ones eventually went to a 'can't tell you when, but it's soon' policy. (or 'we know but we ain't telling')

Century and millennium marks are always the most popular picks.

Was hours of fun reading!


I personally am putting in a leave slip for December 21st 2012.  Just in case those crazy Mayans are right.

Thought I remembered something about Israel  had to be destroyed as a Nation and then had to be reborn/restored as a Nation BEFORE Revelations even happened/started?

Plus IIRC the end times were set to begin before the Generation Born at the time of the Israel rebirth/restoration as a Nation had all passed/died off..........

IIRC the Generation thing in the Bible could mean 40 years, 70, or ......

If theres an actual date for a sudden "end of the world as we know it", that one has my vote.

Im inclined to agree

I remember when they had the Dolls out when some were claimed to mutter cuss words.
My daughter got one that sounded an awful lot to me as well as alot of other people like it was saying "F@GGOT F@GGOT"

God I hated that show. One of the main reasons Im glad we have 5 TV sets.nobody ever has to agrue about what they want to watch.
