Mugadai my offer still stands if you wanna goto the DA. Maybe then youll stop whining on the BBS every night.

Or maybe then you can learn a new tactic other then drop in from 5k higher overshoot run to your ack zoom back up rense and repeat.

Yes you did kill me a few times while I was fighting someone else but like I said in the arena "A retarded monkey can get pick kills in a spit".

How much faster is a 262 than a 51 at that alt?

Try doing that same raid with Ju88s and 109/190s next time.

So Why are you worryed about the fighters at that alt? When going after a bomber raid I aways go after the bombers. As a matter of fact the only pony that came to fight us outran our bombers and fighters untill he atarted turning and burning his E.

It wound never fly in a Ju88 raid when the allies have spits and tempests.

:)  I was up there for the bombers. If only I had brought typhoon, and other Allies would've listened to me about bomber raid coming to a9. :(

Btw... How many 234s did I get. I only got credit for 1 kill, but I know I got oil on some more and oil for both engines on a couple 234s.

Redlegs I know you got more than we would have liked.  :)

Amazing that Redlegs, a lone P51 was able to take down a few 234s, the 262 is uber isn't it?  I mean, the very presence of a 262 should have caused his P51 to burst into flames.  I mean, from the talk here he should have just stayed on the runway and ran to the forums to complain...

Reality Check...

A 262 is probably THE WORST fighter to take on a bomber defense mission.  We did it for fun, never seen so many 262's.  If people had attempted like Redlegs, we probably wouldn't have even made it to the target area.

262 can't turn at speed, it can't accelerate for crap.  It hemorrhages E like an overprivaledged kid in a rave.  It's easy prey to a skilled 51 pilot, and even more so a somewhat skilled Tempest pilot.  On top of all of that, 90% of the axis pilots (including myself) have no idea how to use a 262 effectively.

The whines in here are beginning to remind me of my 6 month old...  I'm afraid I don't have enough pacifiers for all of you...

You got a few smoking, but I dont know how many were put out of action from that. I do know that those people that are crying about us useing are jets wernt even there. redlegs came in at 30k and out ran our fighters who were 20-25k and did get to our bombers. If there were more of them that acted instead of whined we would have lost alot more bombers. The ONLY reqason we had so many Me262s is because when we lifted there were only about 10 enemy on. The original mission called for only four Me262s and the other escorts 109Ks and 190Ds. We only decided to take all jets a few minutes before we rolled just to have more fun.

For tango, a Me109/Ju88 raid when the enemy has heavy cannon plane is just suicide. We have had them in the past and most of the bombers were killed before they even reached the target because one pass would kill two or three bombers.

See if you can get your man Truekill to demonstrate how to stallfight a 262.  I've seen him do it - quite successfully, I might add.

Most of my squaddies can do things in planes that are outright supernatural.  I'm more at the shallower end of the flying gene pool.  Dats why I makem da movies...so they don't kick me to the curb like yesterday's sheep.  :)
