Wonder if the 3+ AH Women....

You girls upset that there isn't a 'women' pilot driving that fighter/bomber of yours?

I know there wasn't any in combat, at least not that I know of... But it just came to mind. lol

Wonder if they'll make it to where you can choose your pilot, before you roll out on your sortie; For the women of AH. (think CT will)

BTW, how many of you women are actually playing AH regularly?

I can think of Betty, TxMom, SheGotYa, LovlyDeath, and MsBehavin...

No ~ not at all. There weren't women in 'em back then (except maybe on the way over to the theater)... I don't see any reason to put them in there now.

*edit* I usually only fly on squad night ~ when the rest of the squad is in a specific plane ~ or the open spots for a squad mission only include planes. Other than that ~ I don't even get into the planes.

Oh it doesnt really matter to me either way. I play the game for fun and play just about every night. I  dont pay to much attention to that kind of detail, It would be pretty cool though.. who knows maybe some day.

My personal fav...for obvious reasons...



Hero of the Soviet Union, Lt. Natalya Fedorovna Meklin flew 982 night combat missions during the course of World War II in an antiquated U-2/Po-2 biplane. She was later promoted to captain, awarded numerous medals and after the war became a writer.

actually, there were plenty  of women in combat in WW2........the russians had a lot of female combat pilots..i think even a couple aces, although i'm not sure. the british had the Auxillary Transport Service, which was women transporting combat aircraft to their squadrons(don't know if any saw combagt though), and we had the Womens Air Service Pilots(WASPS) and they also ferried combat aircraft. if i remember(don't hold me to this)i THOUGHT i had read in the past that one or two of them may have ben jumped, and had to fight..again, i'm not sure. i also believe the germans used women in combat, but ui don't think in the luftwaffe though.........
