The picture's from our office lobby.  The model is a diecast one.  Putting the little action figures in place is about the limit of my model building skills.

Thanks Pyro,

That photo answered a question I've had for a long time.  I've got a Hispano shell and casing at home that my father brought home from his service in WWII.  Looks exactly like the one in the picture.  I never knew what it was.

[EDIT]  He was an AA gunner in the Merchant Marines after a stint in the Army Infantry.  He told me it was an AA shell, but I never knew what kind.

You can positively ID it with a ruler and  a quick examination.   It is most likely from an Oerlikon.

P.S. Make sure it has been made inert.  Otherwise that could be hazardous and illegal to boot.

OMG, when we fly over a base now for the next couple of weeks it will look like a waffle iron spitting fireworks.

Nice work Fester and Waffle on the art!

Don't need it. I can vouch for TK. Did it earlier, had my gunsite above the GV, out of icon range, and popped his turret. Think i filmed  it....

Whenever I see the Wirbelwind, I always think of the Zsu23/4... they look so damn familiar.

Either one really tears **** up.

I'd like to see this, please!

I have trouble lining up on the target at 1k, let alone 1.5+!
