The Wirbelwind's 20mm are pretty much comparable to our Hispanos (Tempest, F4U-C)

Does anyone else think HTC is trying to distract us from the lack of developments in CT? Dont get me wrong, I LOVE new aircraft, but suddenly, out of nowhere, 3 new aircraft/vehicles (5 if you count variants) in so many months...

There is 4 of em, there is only 1, 2, or 3 (excluding the temp, typh, nikki....)

HTC are going to need a holiday after this. They've really pulled out all the stops lately.

Yeah pretty big difference between ft/s and m/s. Some people were chatting about the WW's guns on ch200 and quoting 800-900fps.... That's dang slow for an AAA gun.

I punched it up really quick. 900 m/s x 3.28 = 2,952 fps.

That put's it about as fast, or a little faster, than the Rifle-calibre guns' we have in the game. Assuming that the modeling takes that into account.

Of course, it's firing a much bigger (wind resistance) but heavier (more mass/momentum) projectile. This thing will eat up plenty of aircraft, I reckon.
