With the wirbelwind due as an Ostwind variant which itsself is avariant of a Panzer tractor unit I was wondering what future variants may be on the cards as loadout options.................

T34-85 (from our existing T34)
Stug-iii (from our existing Panzer)
M3 T48 -57mm (from the M-3...Russians refered to it as an SU-57)
M3 T19 -105mm (howitzer.... may need an ammo trailer or M3 supplies support)
M3 T19/M21 -81mm (mortar)
M4-A2 ("the" M4 .....Russians called it the Emcha {76 or 75mm guns})
M4 - Priest

any others?

How about not?

Whats the point of a tank then?  If 1 in 100 jeeps were equiped with an anti-tank weapon I would be suprised.  Optimizing every unit in the game for its absolute maximum firepower would quickly turn the game into another Quake II shoot-em up phantasy game and thats not why were here is it?

Whats wrong with an anti-tank weapon, especially towed?  They are soft targets.  Make it an option for the jeep and perk it so it doesnt get over used.  Much more realistic defense against an armor assault verses Lancstukas every where.

My prefrence would be for the British SAS jeep from North Africa..

Towable artillery, by either Jeep or M3.  Then we can have remote artillery against ground targets (which the Jeep or something else can spot for) as well as improvised AAA, and some of those anti-tank guns like 3" M5s etc.

Like Airscrew said, all of these die with a bit of strafing, probably even 7.62mm.

M10 Wolverine Tank destroyer or any number of variants built on the Sherman Chassis; 75mm, 76mm, 105mm Howitzer, M10 and M36 Tank Detroyers most prominent among them.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

I don't use GV's often but even I would like to see some of these mentioned here even if they are perked. I tend to use my perks almost as fast as I get them since I don't build them very fast (getting better though). It would be nice though to have a few more perked rides in both the GV's area of game and also maybe some in them bomber area (I know this is a little off track though). There just are not very many ways to use up those perkies.

Haxxor has returned!!!!

Dont you mean the M7 priest?

this game isnt big enough to support towed artillery, it just doesnt have the graphix needed to support all these vehicle ideas.

there is a game however that already has all those tanks and more.......:aok

M7B1 Priest used an M4 chassis. (105mm howitzer)

Indeed the Canadian Sexton II (British 25 pounder) used a Grizzly chassis which was also derived from the M4.

Care to be a little less cryptic about the name of the game? So far it sounds interesting.
Currently flying as "Ruger"
