A whine
« on: February 15, 2008, 10:04:55 AM »
I don't know how many times I have been defending a base with an Ostie and I will shoot someone down just as they release a bomb.  Although he is flapping around like a fish out of water, unless he bails before the bombs hit me, he gets his kill on me (earned, no problem with that) but I don't get the kill on him.
If you shoot someone down, you should be awarded the kill.

Actually, I have seen the opposite.  If he bails, I get the kill, if he is flopping around and I die, I don't.

The problem I think you are having is, he isn't down till he is down.  You explode and are back in the tower, he is still falling, but not "dead".  You don't get the kill if you aren't alive.

Hey, it happens..

It's the same as in any other case within the arenas.

It's like a game of chicken.  When two planes shoot each other down, the kill is awarded to the one that bails (or crashes) last.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

You died and your camera footage was blown up..... who can say you got a kill posthumously. I on the otherhand am amazing in an osty... I have the incredible ability to shoot all around an aircraft of any size without damaging him at all. Just takes lots n lots o practice....

Playing chicken is a good description.  You win some you lose some.  A big ROFL to shuffler...

I thought I was the only one with this amazing ability!  Hey maybe we should track up(as opposed to wing up).  I figure we can overlap our circles!  It just might work...:rofl
