I volenteered to do the Axis Frame 1 orders. I don't have an account right now and it keeps me involved with the best part of THE GAME. Several things went wrong before and after they were sent though.
I am not one of the three that recieve the objectives and cannot mail the orders out directly. The XO was a CM on duty, The CO had RL concerns and the 3RD contact is there to act as flight lead if the CO and XO can't make the frame(rarely happens).
This has never been a problem before. We get CiC duty once every 15-18 frames and as long as I get the objectives quickly it's OK. And if we are CiC for Frame 2 or 3 it works even better. I plan some things in advance.
Unfortunatly I had an ISP problem and did not get the objectives until I got home Wed night. Stayed up to 2AM to get out only half the info I should have. Had to get up at 5AM for work and my men did to like me much Thursday.
For one thing, I should have stressed the need for the G14 squads to meet the high end of commitment levels and to shadow and mass forces. Left 12 in the hanger. Think they did a good job with what they had though.
I should have(and it crossed my mind) had some defenders up and pickle a 500Kg bomb. Would have givin them more options. Sorry.
I also should have made it clearer that the center attack have at least 12 Ju88s in the group. I see a penalty comming. I interprate 12 min as 12 players rather formations are used or not. Am I correct on this? I had ordered them to up as singles. Thought 32 was a bit much for one TG, but even if those that showed upped formations I still think a penalty would be handed down for not having 12 players.
This last point leads to one of these>>>>>>>>>

One 88 squad did not show. Not my doing. At least I don't think so, but with the e-mail problems it might be part mine.
And 3 squads(including my own) fell below their bare min.
Think the Allieds might have had a problem also. They did not field 8 sets of Lancs. They did however maximize there 51s
I tryed to spread the fight out evenly except to bolster the two spots the I felt would have the largest attacks. The South(Lancs and 51s) and the North(obvious choice for the Tirpitz). Not meeting commitment levels hurts everyone.
Now, I do realize that part of the "saw little action" was due to problems on the other side and over all I think we did well. But it would have helped if I had given defenders the tools to press a secondary attack.
For those that feel they saw too much action, please check your commitment level before typing. Not saying that anyone feels that way or that I made no errors. Just putting it out there.
AND then there's the clouds. I guess Vis=17 miles doesn't meen what it used too. Have no problem with it or the fact that AFAICT I was not warned of it. Makes things interesting and real. But I'm sure it changed thing around a bit. You just can't shoot me for that one:D
I realy do hope everyone had a high point or two. Will do better next time.
