You know, I *do* like Miracle Whip.  But, a true sammich connoisseur uses regular mayo, as it doesn't overpower the sammich with rich spices and sugar like MW does. MW has its place, just not on my sammichs that have organic vegetables on it.

Speaking of organic....we subscribe to this organic farm out here.  The price is outrageous ($580 for 3 months, but we split this with a neighbor...) however the taste of fruits and vegetables that are grown organically (and not commercially) are simply astounding..try it sometime.  As a comparison, try an organic banana and compare it to a "Dole" banana.  You'll see what I mean.

Yep, Ripsnot is turning organic. :)  Not because of environment or "green" reasons, simply because of taste. :aok

Rip, plant a few tomatoes in the backyard. You will wonder what that crap is you have been buying at the store.

I did the simple test when I was about 12...

I took a slice of white bread and wiped Hellmanns Mayo on it and then a slice of bread and wiped Miracle Whip on it.

Set both into the Sun on a Summer Day.  Just to see..

and you know what?

As they both laid in the hot Summer Sun... waiting to see which one would attract the most flies or turn yellow in the Sun...

Guess what happened?

Yep...

A stray dog came by and ate both....

Bastage.

:D

Hope you spent time reading this....:t

I love really good fruit, but living in an urban environment I really don't know where to get it other then the local supermarket, so where is it that you get this organic fruit from?

Back to the food, give me a Gyro pronounced (yearo) not Gy-ro, anyday.  A bad Gyro beats a great Hamburger or flat meat sandwhich everytime.

Unless... its greasy and the grease overpowers the sauce tomato onion combination.

Believe me I know.

With a good cucumber sauce they are great, especially here in IL, they make good ones.

WTG Trax,

Gyro Express in Villa Park or Zellys in Lombard (Zelly's is the best sub $5.00 Gyro on the planet).

Long Live Illinois Gyro's!!
