Film viewer tutorial

Let's try using the SWF player that Macromedia made a while back. Download it here:

Once you download it open it with Win RAR, not Win Zip. If you don't have Win RAR download it here:

Once you open the downloaded file with Win RAR click on the folder named "Players". Now press the "Extract to" button at the top. Once the "Extraction path and options" menu appears, click on the "Desktop" (Shown on the right). Now press "OK" and it should extract the files to your Desktop.


Once you extracted the files go to your Desktop, open the new folder named "Players". Now open the file named "SAFlashPlayer". It should open a program with a white screen. Once it's open go to File>Open. Now press the "Browse" button and locate the .SWF tutorial (Wherever you saved it.) Once you selected it and opened it you should be able to play it using that player, if not, I do not know how to help you. Perhaps the only way to get it to work is to stream it (Watch it online) at the link provided at the top.

If it does work, have fun with the camera angles.

I just clicked the link & it worked fine. Seemed like a really huge DL but it worked none the less.

I could read it for you.... but I only have 3 languages.... English, Bad English and Bad Italian!   My 5 year old son and my wife both speak Italian better than I do after living there for 4+ years!

This time I saved it as a .txt file on my computer and attached it. Hopefully it works. Make sure to download it to the same location as the tutorial which you should have downloaded already. Once you did that open the new file (AH_FV_tut.txt) and go to File>Save As (Not Save.) Now save the file as: AH_FV_tut.html

Make sure its saving to the same location as the tutorial.

I want subtitles too! Not normal ones though, I want them in Spanish. I can't speak or read spanish, but I want spanish subtitles!

It's asking for the plug-in because the script which is now part of this page is attempting to download a Flash player to play a video which is nonexistent. When the forum update was completed it accepted HTML, because of that my script became an operable piece of code on this web page actually browsing the web server looking for the FV Tutorial. Since it doesn't exist, the film won't play.

So there's no way to have the camera transition from one shot to the next on its own?  Say, a top down fixed view of two planes doing merge immelmans, then having the camera move from that perch and follow the planes along the center of their downward barrel rolls?
