I wish for a command that will take a screen shot and save it to your AH2 directory directly from the film viewer.

I can't get the screen shots to work in the film viewer. Please HiTech, give us computer tards an easy way to take screen shots in the film viewer.

Alt-S doesn't work from the the film viewer.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Pause the fil at the spot you want, set up the angle, click "Full Screen", press "POrint Screen" (next to scroll lock), open paints and edit paste. Then you can just "save as" to your AH2 folder.

Simple terms:

Setup the camera angle in the Film Viewer the way you want the screen shot to appear. Next go to "Full Screen" mode. Now press the, "Prt Scr" button located next to, "Scroll Lock."

Now go to: Start>Programs>Accessories>Paint. Press Ctrl + V or go to: Edit>Paste.

Edit the image (If necessary) then save it to a location easy to find it. At this point it is preferred that you convert it to .jpg using a converter such as IRFanView. Paint can save it as .JPG, but it doesn't compress the file as well as IRFanView or Photoshop.

After you convert it to .JPG you can use a website such as http://www.imageshack.us to host your image, then you simply paste the image inside the [ img] [/ img] tags and you should be good to go.

That's why I asked for a simple command, I can't get that to work.

Is nothing coming out when you attempt to paste? Do you not have a Prt Scr button? Something else contributing to a problem that's preventing you from taking screen shots?

We can try to help you, it might be a simple keyboard issue or a missed piece of instruction.

I do have a print screen button, just nothing happens when I hit it, never has either on any keyboard I have ever had.

I'm a tard when it comes to software anyways. So if someone gives me instructions on how to do something it really needs to be an exact step by step deal w/ no assuming that I know the obvious things that everyone knows because odds are, I don't know it. :D

Nothing is supposed to happen. It just saves it. But, if you copy something else, it replaces the PrtScrn save... so dont. Then press ctrl+V in paint.

Here i will tell you how to do it.

You find the place in your film you want to save. Pause it and make any adjustments that you need to make

Then press full screen and press: alt-prtscrn

Then open Paint on your computer and press: ctrl-v
(it might not be ctrl-v)

After that it will pop up on the screen where it shows paint and you will get a good screen shot.

You may also want to turn icons off. Makes the SS look better IMO.
