I figured out what I was doing wrong. Once I was in full screen with the picture I wanted to take, I hit the print screen button, then left clicked on the full screen pic so I could access the Paint program via the start button/ menu thingie. I have to hit alt tab to switch so the task bar is again in view. Which still seems to get rid of the full screen pic so I'm not sure why it makes a difference but it did.

Once I used alt tab to switch so the task bar was viewable I was able to paste into Paint. Wierdness imo. :D

I still want an easier way to do this though, this way just seems to be far more cumbersome than it needs to be.

Thanks for all the help. :)

Elfie, it is only cumbersome  because you are not used to cutting and pasting.

You will almost always be in a paint program to edit the image or save as a jpg.

And opening the bmp file from paint would be more cumbersome  then the copy and paste.

My first attempt at posting screen shots is up in the general discussion forum. The tags on the F6F are blurred, not sure why though. I used Irfranview to save the screen shots as .jpgs.

It's normal, things at a distance of that nature will be blurred when converting to .JPG. Just remember to put quality to 100 if you don't want it so blurred.
