First... I really want to thank Dux and the CM Terrain Team for there hard work on our Special Events Maps and there ability to manipulate the weather. These custom clouds allow us to experience something in Aces High we have never really seen before and combined with terrains like Norway, Midway, and the Aleutians, it promises to bring some new events and setups this year and beyond.

Now for the score.

The Axis really gave the Allies a wallop in the Air and at Sea. The number of Aircraft kills held by the Axis really was what set the discrepancy in the difference of the scores. The Axis managed to shoot down 134 Aircraft, Exactly twice the amount (67) the Allies claimed. The total number of kills and the fact that the Axis found and sank the Allied Cruiser and One Destroyer led to the scores to showing a complete Axis Victory in Frame 1.

But in careful consideration by the FSO team and reports from players on both sides, it appears the Axis had two Task Forces out of there containment areas before T+60 by mistake. While the differences in time vary, they both were in violation of the written orders, and will both be penalized. A penalty of 20% of the total axis score will be subtracted from there total score.

The total points removed from the Axis Score was 106.

Axis Total: 424
Allied Total: 255

As an Allied pilot, I saw the ruthlessness of the Axis first hand as an F6F pilot who was forced to bail after damage when our squad was decimated by Fw190s. It looks like it may be an uphill battle for the Allies, but with two frames left it should be fairly close with the points difference of only 169 points.

Definitely a big to the CM terrain team & Dux for that incredible weather on the map, it was just amazing and you guys really out did yourselves on it. I look forward to future maps you guys make with this level of detail given to the weather, again .

The Rogues have been chalking up k/d ratios like that for many tours. With the merger with Stoney's group, well, the rest of you are in trouble but it's no thanks to me, I keep the averages down.

We had 9 109s..... the rest were 110s... 109s only lost 2-3 pilots.

Unlikely, and not in any organized way.

Axis orders were sent out the day before the Allied orders were compromised. So the Axis CiC did not have the Allied orders when he made his plan. Only a few Axis squads got the Allied orders, and most of those guys knew it was a mistake and deleted them. Also, The Allied orders were compromised only 6hrs & 38min, before the start of frame 1. Hardly enough time to make good use of them.

The Allied were told that their orders had been compromised before the start of the frame. and were able to make adjustments as necessary.

Most of the information in the Allied orders was very general. "Launch from this CV and go protect this TG."

The most valuable information in the Allied orders for the Axis, was where the Lancaster's were launching from, were they where going and the general flight path. So at worst, certain squads could have know they were going to face Lancaster's, and other squads would know they were not.

That is........ If those CO's were among the ones that got to see the Allied orders.

I don't see any other way the CM team could handle this so I salute them for taking the high road.

I'm going to just say it then leave it alone forever. I SWEAR!

I presented evidence that two of three suspect CV's were out of place with all probability the third CV was set on course to be returned to the containment area in time to be "masked". That being said there is no reason to think any of the Axis CV's where "in play" until the T+60ish time. The only one we found was half a sector out when it was spotted and put to rest shortly there after.

The whole orders thing does not event bother me. I know the guy, and if I suspected anything I would have been on the boards before the first TBM was shot down. We played through it & the CM team advised me to inform you all what had happened. I sorta was willing to wear this on my shoulder's until I learned about the CV's positions that was the last straw:(
Every containment area was searched head to toe thus suspending one fifth of my forces heavy or low inside a kill box for the Axis side. I'm sure if I tossed out the rule's I could have come up with a better plan

There is a whole lot more then I'm saying about the first frame of this FSO that I'm un pleased with but I'm willing to let it go.

I'm looking forward to the next one at least I can fly this time. Sorry I pissed a few of you Allied guy's off & I see comm's are a hudge issue I'm glad Sled has taken care of it for this frame.

This is FSO, not the MA, so I really doubt that anyone who might have received those Allied orders on the Axis side would have, 1 even read them, 2 used the information to plan there activities. I don't think any of us participate in FSO to get victories, we play because it's different from the MA style of play and having the other sides orders takes away from the fun you'd have.

That was the mother of all FSO sorties right there. First, ZigZag was hogging all the kills since he accounted for one third of them single-handedly. Second, right place at the right time. For two smaller squads that were routinely banged on due to being assigned the lonely six-ship CAP mission, its nice to finally have the numbers to make a solid contribution to the effort. Third, great flying individually, but even more solid teamwork amongst the squad made the difference.
