Here is one of me and my squad OTW to target. Great looking formation hun?

Here is one of me closing on a 109, "Man this guys is going to be so dead!"

Here is one of me unloading on a 110, or is that a JU87? Hard to tell them apart.

Actually, I wasn't even there Friday, but I couldn't resist a chance to mess with Nef.

Will each Squad CO next to file an IFR clearence to get to the targets tonight?

The ceilings were less than 800 and visibility, wow! There was none. Pretty cool, where else can you fly in conditions like that and not kill yourself. At least not before someone else does...

After disco-ing twice, I was able to hop in the back of Swoop73's Stuka as a gunner, and had the pleasure of seeing something you don't get much of in a 1944 setup--Stuka's that can successfully RTB.

No wonder sse chermans lost WWII.. The brits had HUDs in their fighters..

We didn't do anything but furball, so there's no real scenery pics, only action shots from me.

Strip leads the muppets' formation thru wasteland of water above and below..

Maneuver into first kill:

The kill itself.. This one's wingman isn't where he ought to be. They both crossed my path and could've set up a trap, but instead left both their sixes wide open..

ACM into kill #2, clearing Bearkats..

Just in the nick of time.. The rest of the fight has already dropped to half its initial altitude, just a few minutes into it.

Kill #3 overview.. This one happened in slow motion for me. It starts with a zoom up a few thousand feet up to the reverse below:

The first tater shot after the 13mm feelers came as he was accelerating past 100mph and I had been focused onto him for a few seconds, with no sense of attitude with the skies all white..

Two taters overshoot and the last one lands on his tail.

I just realized I haven't changed the weather colors for dusk too.. So the colours don't look like what we had in the event at all.. Here's the few pics I took while I was at it, anyway:

Next kill, two taters in the wingroot, a fire breaks out before the fuel tank explodes a fraction of a second later...:

Clearing someone's six, I can't make the tater shot but try to distract him off his target.. Maybe he's ticklish?
