the AP bomb would punch thru the deck, possibly detonating the powder mags if right place is hit
the D3A would get one also
on Battle 360 last  night a val bomb punched thru 5 of the lucky e's decks.
and yes the SB2C would be great addition
if we get it, i  want D4Y and B6N lol jap plane set is small
D4Y2:
Maximum speed: 342 mph (550 km/h)
2x forward-firing 7.7 mm machine guns
1x rearward-firing 7.92 mm machine gun
up to 800 kg (1,765 lb) of bombs
B6N2:
Maximum speed: 468 km/h (291 mph) [compared to B5Ns 229 mph]
Guns: 1 x 7.7mm Type 92 machine gun and 1 x 7.7mm Type 92 firing through ventral tunnel
Bombs: 1 x 800 kg (1,760 lb) torpedo or 3 x 250 kg (550 lb) bombs

Historically the dive bombers faded out towards the end of the war due largely to
the fact that fighters could accomplish much the same mission while having obvious
advantages after the bombing was done.

This is why you see SBDs and SB2Cs leaving the flight decks to the F6Fs, F4Us and
TBF/Ms in late 44/45

I wouldnt consider the TBM much better than a dauntless in a fight...
