Come join us in the Axis vs Allied "AvA" Arenas! If you like heart pounding, nerve recking, kill or be killed action?! The AvA is a place for you!!

We are about to start our new "war" and are looking for pilots to fly both Allied and Axis! You wont find ober planes in here, no LA7s, no Spit 16s, no Me262s "for the moment until the war advances!" Plane sets are equal! See huge bomber formations, historical mission types, and other fun stuff!! Come to the AvA!

Hey, just a mention...

I know you guys' made it in jest. But going into the recruitment thread that is in General Discussion, and then writing posts' like this:

There were 3 190's porking an empty field on the other side of the map from the real fight. I upped to defend the base. This "HO" happened just after I took off when 2 of them were trying to kill me. In fact I was turning below him, because he was trying to vulch me.

But by all means, keep jumping to conclusions.

Now back to your regularly scheduled AvA advertisement.

Despite the loud whines of the Axis on channel 200, the AvA war is great. Good fights and (usually) minimum "dweebiness". When organized missions are run, it's as close as you'll get to an SEA Scenario. Good stuff.

They aren't gonna think that there is any worthwile reason to come into the AvA if it's just a mini-MA. Please, Keep that thread in G/D as positive as possible, people!!! If you guys' have a beef, keep it in the AvA forum where it belongs.

I strongly agree Frode!!

Because of that post, i feel the time i put in and what not was a waste of time. I chose the screenshots that i thought showed action. Doesnt matter the angle of shot or whatever, if it looks good, im gonna use it!!

I made it to bring people into the AvA, but you guys are just making it like Frode said, a mini-MA!!

Eh, sorry about that. I should have kept my mouth shut. Of course, honestly, it really is almost a mini MA, and it will be evident to anyone who ventures in for more than 5 minutes, so I see no point in saying any different. If they want historic matchups, they'll come. If they want to fight LA7's in their Ponies, they'll stay in the MA. It's that simple.

Though, instead of bumping the post (which you've done twice despite being so disappointed with it) you could have just let it die and reposted. I'm sure no one would have said anything.

I was just continuing the friendly banter between the sides, but I suppose I should have kept it in here.

Yeah, I know. The point was that I don't really care that much, and I'm pretty sure no else really cares either as demonstrated by the lack of responses in said thread. I doubt very highly that those comments are going to influence people either one way or the other. Like I said before, it's a fact that these things do happen in the AvA, whether you like it or not, and anyone who comes in will see these things. If these things drive those people away then those people weren't going to stay anyway.

I'll now return to my usual lurking instead of posting. It seems I'm much better at that.
