If anyone has a bread machine and wants to try it, here is the recipe for the egg bread I made. It makes a 1-½ pound loaf and is great for sandwiches.
¾ cup milk
2 eggs
3 cups bread flour
3 Tablespoons butter
¼ cup sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons dry yeast
If your machine has a crust selector, choose light.
There were no ill effects from the sandwich, other that I woke up in the middle of the night unbelievably thirsty.
