Anybody in the house play Roller/Ice hockey? I get this weird feeling that Slapshot did at some point

I just joined my first Inline hockey league after playing outside of my house for 4 years.

I used to play street hockey with the guys back in high school. Really it was just an excuse to wail on each other.

I honestly haven't touched a set of blades or skates since then. All my hockey equipment is hanging up on the wall, for lack of a better thing to do with them.

I used to play Ice Hockey. About 30+ seasons (4 different seasons in 1 year when I was younger and there were only 15 games), and ony 1 Championship plus around 10-15 second places

Atleast I got a Hat-Trick on the Championship game.

I started skating and playing organized hockey at age 4. Had backyard home built ice rinks since around age 7. I played AAA from Pee Wee on and spent 7 days a week on skates through high school.

I have played with a few NHLers. Nathan Dempsey, Chris Osgood. Had Jamie McLenan over on the rink a few times, Geoff Sanderson was in some classes of mine, but not a team mate.

I have not picked up a hockey stick in about 10 years now, life got busy with work and children....

hey,
i play in a bunch of rec roller and ice leagues during the year.. my younger brother however with all the skill in the family is the starting goalie on a prominent div.1 college team.. the bastard.

I played roller and Ice hockey for about 10 years. Fun stuff, alot of egos. Everyone thought they were NHL trying to throw more body checks than scoring goals.

Yup i play hockey (roller no ice for 1hr+ away) for an area leauge and im on my high schools hockey team, played travel for a while but didnt work out. most of my friends play, its an awsome sport. Btw the women in my country won the world cup of roller hockey.

Played Junior B a few years back, before I went to college.
Played in college... we only had club level Ice hockey in a southern D1-A school...Gave it up when I graduated and went onto Master's.

Still skate once or twice a week in a Men's A League.

I closely inspected the hockey team photos when browsing through colleges that I wanted to attend.
