Hardly a representative sampling of bomber alts. Just playing devil's advocate.
i didn't read the link yet as it's pretty late..but it's bookmarked for later reading......
read a book called combat crew by john comer.....he was a top turret gunner on a 17......if i recall, the average alts were in the mid 20's....i think they said 27 to 28k was high alt...and something like -60F too..........
