Departure
Yesterday evening, rook nation departed from the homeland on a dangerous mission to strike fear in the heart of knight land. We rolled from Alpha 12 North east at 0738 hours. The runway was filled with eager, excited, fear, and overall confidence in the mission.
We had some good bomber talent along with very skilled escort fighters. Squadrons that were attending yesterday were: 78th & 484th BGH, 4th FG Debden Boys, LCA renegades, Righteous Vengeance, And numerous countrymen.
We departed with 28 confirmed formation of B17G models, 12x500IB ordnance, and 75% internal fuel. The Target: To strike 3 Strategic Factories near the Headquarters: AAA, City, & the Radar. Indeed we were in for a hell of a fight to get there.

Another View of the formations on take off:
Scouted Out
T+11 into the mission, we are scouted out by a knight typhoon by the name of GearJaw or Glassjaw ( either one ). He is amazed on the amount of bombers he finds, and hesitates to make a pass into the massive streams of formations & fighter escorts overhead.

He soon realizes that making suicidal attempts into a massive stream of .50cal yields terrible results, and he is set a blazed from the barrage of .50cals coming from the B17s Gunners.
Entering Hells Gates
T+26 into the mission, and we soon receive word over the country channel that we have multiple FW190s Inbound to the formation, unconfirmed model, but they were coming in 12 o'clock fast of the formation and closing. I inform the bomber stream to start forming up near any friendly formation, as being spotted as a lone formation is suicide. Approaching 21,000ft we encounter the first wave of 190s.

Once we have Confirmed ID on the 190s, they are Ta152 High Alt interceptors and they were making a pass on the lead box of bombers:

Little did we know, after this 190 makes his pass... we are entering hell from here on out, we have been located, and every knight within a 75 mile range was informed on the raid, and rolling fast interceptors to try and prevent us from our goal.... That ends page one of the AAR... Stay tuned for Page 2.
