Very nice work on the models, very nice.

I like both immaculate models and those "weathered" to look a little war weary.  Both styles can be appreciated for excellence in modeling, and the beauty of the aircraft design.

lol, you are one word off with that quote.
that one word can mean a big difference in how something is perceived.
the reason I was laughing so hard is in ( ). (usually, women sees things different than men do.)
or as Dux said "zooom!" {not going to explain that one}
you can post all you want.
I never said anyone couldn't post.
this is HTC's house and is their say on, who is welcomed or not.

Nice looking planes.  Thanks for sharing. It makes me want to finish that 190 thats been sitting in my closet for a couple years waiting for that perfect paint job.

I've got the mustang and I've been looking at the bubble top jug.  I've also got a B stang in a smaller scale.  These are made by Corgi and come fully detailed.  For lazy people like myself they are perfect.

I didn't know that you're "supposed" to give them the battered look. I've got nothing but sons. I always harass them because their models look like crap after being tossed around, "flown" into the grass, off of the roof, into the dogs, through entryways & into bookshelves, through the ceiling fan.

Who knew!?!

There is a person here who builds model aircraft a lot.

He always posts photos of the models on top of his washing machine. People complain that the models don't look 'right' if he doesn't photograph them on his washing machine.

It's an inside joke.

Those models look cool, I haven't seen anything of that quality in Australia... I just make my own instead.

Txmom,

Do your kids hang the models from the ceiling? I did that when I built models as a kid. I had 3 corners set up in 3 different eras of flight. WW1, WW2 and Korea. They were set in different angles as if in a dogfight. At least until my little sister got in my room with a pair of scissors.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Nope, they sure don't. Any time that my kids build the models, they're strictly for play-time... not at all for display.  Someday they may get to the point where they display them... for now they're still playing with them :)

Ive seen the large toy airplanes at WalMart around the holidays.

I confess...the German-marked F-104G was too cool to pass up  :)
