Last weeks news. And not at all uncommon. Happens 2-3 times every six months around here. Usually they've been "caught and released" a couple of times before.

lots of hit and runs around here are done by illegals.

One girl jogging last year died cause instead of calling for help our burrito munching border jumper made a run for the border.

What's maddening about that video is, once again, that it's skewed to focus only on the actions of a small part of one group. Like I said before: I guess that means people in the country legally don't commit violent crime?

It's one thing to argue that they shouldn't be here because they're in the country in violation of emigration laws, but for THIS is just stupid.

Where are you going to deport legal residents to? Legal citizens are sent to jail for said acts.

The argument that 'we do it too' is meaningless and redundant. What does it justify?

Removing illegals is the removal of additional risk. That youtube clip claims that 48 000 Americans have been killed by llegal immigrants since 9/11. Since they provide no source for this claim we will assume, for argument's sake, that a maximum of one quarter of this number is true.

That is 12 000 people that would not have died had the illegal immigrants not been able to gain entry to the country in the first place. I don't know about you, mate, but if that was happening in my country I would not be happy about it.

You can't get rid of all the law-breakers and fools but you certainly should get rid of the ones that don't belong there in the first place.

Of course legal citizens commit crimes... they are sent to jail and are just as contemptible as the illegals that do the same thing. The difference between the two is that the illegal immigrant has committed the additional crime of simply being there in the first place.

I don't want to sound like an stunninghunk here but the prevention of needless deaths should be high on any country's agenda.
