What did I do wrong here?

Okay, first off.. I'm not new to the game. Second, I have played long enough to establish myself as a respectful player. Most anyone I've flown with/against can attest to that. So tonight was my last night for about a year and a half (work) so I decided to burn perks and run 262 sorties.

Here's the story...

I come across a set of lancs. I make several passes (I can't aim well with 262) and kill one of the buffs (LTARMAC). Then he makes a sharp turn and his drone disappears. I got the kill for that. Then a fellow countryman blows his wing off and I get the kill from prior damage.  Then on 200 he says If I ever do that again he will send it to HTC. Now I'm confused. Did he see something I didn't?  So I ask on 200 then on PM what he was talking about and that I have no clue what's going on. He then says..."yea right" and probably squelched me because I never heard from him again.

I take this very seriously because I'm not a cheater, and to be accused as one I would at least want an explanation. Maybe there was a glitch that he saw? But from my POV, he was red so I killed him. Someone who knows what was going on please let me know, or LTARmac would you please shed some light here?

boost is about as good an opponent as one can run across in this game.  I liked him or our team but I appreciate him more as an adversary who has no quit in him.  if you play against boost you have a fight until it is over.  there is no running in him.

Wait, wait... you are talking about your teammate complaining about a "kill steal" right?  Not LTARMAC complaining about being killed.

He stated that the complaining took place on 200 so it would have been the lanc pilot.

It may well have been that MAC did not see the person who killed him and assumed that since BOOST recieved the kill for it he pulled some sort of aimbot long range super kill or something.

Seems like the most logical explanation to me.

sounds like mac was whining over getting shot down or something, who knows?

Not entirely hard to kill Lancs in a 262.

I think that might be it. I didn't seem like a whine as much as it seemed like he really thought something happened. Oh well, thanks for the input guys. I will look forward to seeing some of you and fighting most of you in about 1 1/2 years from now
