SAPP experts requested in AvA
« on: March 01, 2008, 06:11:15 PM »
Gentlemen!

Allied Forces in AvA War would be honoured if the SAPPs could contribute to our cause. Actually, we're taking a beating from Luftwobbles and we could use your expertise to drive them back.

We would thank you very much if you helped us in this time of need.

Just go to Aces High BB > General Forums > Axis vs Allies and request access to AvA Allied Forum in Aces High BB > Special Events Forums >.

Thank you.

There is no such thing as a skilled SAPP.  They're all dweebs who fly some light bomber.  I think you'd be better off getting Fencer and his 51 gang.  I don't care for the SAPP guys myself.

;)  I'll check it out.

Currently we have the P-38G as well as the P-47D11.

Get a chance to fight some skilled Axis fliers flying 109s and 190s.  Make a difference for the allies!!

Was there the other night.  Wasn't really impressed with the level of the Luftwhiners.  The Lufthwhiners would only engage in pairs, seemed very adverse to the notion of a 1v1 despite their talk of the contrary in the AvA forum.  As soon as one of them would get shot down, the wingman would turn tail and bolt.  Only Tbarone and N7 wouldn't shy from a 1v1 and both of those guys provided the best fights of the night but the rest, sheesh...timid lederhosen wearing, Sound of Music lovin' nancies.

Went to Ava last night with a few others.  Was not impressed at all with the vulching Ho'in and ramming. While I don't really enjoy MA on the weekends at least fights were to be found there.

We gotta get you to fly your airplane right side up.  You are clearly inverted and seeing 38s below you :)

Still laughing about the other night when you came across 200 accusing the 38 guys up of being alt monkeys.  We were on the deck fighting at the time and I was at about 500 feet turning with a bunch :)

I went in there on 2 different nights. Lots of HOin and vulchin german steel. Both nights if I was able to get off the ground it was to the point of almost getting wheels up before a vulch.

I was wondering who ruined AVA. Used to be a good place to fight. Why do we need another LW arena since we have 2 already. Only good thing is that it pulls some of those types out of the other arenas.

Who ruined the AvA? The same people who think they are doing good with the "War in the AvA". It has made it so if you want better planes you have to win rounds in the war. To win rounds you must take bases, and thats where things get dirty. Because it takes 35 troops to take a base even if you take out all the hangers at lease one will pop before you get them all in that means the vulch light is on. Then thats when people whining about getting vulched. When theres always ganna be a base 10miles away on these small maps, but instead of rolling form that base and climbing to 5k and dive in and kill the vulchers, they want to up from a capped field when the enemy has troops otw. Then ask why we are vulching I thought this was the AvA and you guys dont do that here. Well bad new its not the AvA any more. Its just another MA where anything goes. Only reason Im still playing in there is Im one of the few who have been there since almost the start and been there though its ups and downs. Im just hoping that this fad will go away and we can get our empty sandbox DA/AvA where IF someone is on you KNOW your ganna get a good fight.

If you guys do come in there remember the only reason to be above 5k is if your going over a mountain.:D

There can still be good fights to be found, just like the MA though...few and far in between.
