Our boss will be the same as the old boss too. The US also lives under the rule of a one party monopoly. Although they do exert considerable influence over the media here, they don't quite controll it completely as they do in your country... yet.

Not a good era for democracy.

Ahhh but the real question we all want to know is.

Did you Vote?
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty

This "Bear" (Medvedev = Bear) most likely will continue to re-build Russia and bring it out of the woods to break-up any fornication going on by other parties. ;)

Arrest who? Elaborate please. I don't see NKVD warriors hunting "liberal opposition" with barking dogs.

No I didn't.

Don't want to vote for Medvevev, don't want to vote for a Commie candidate (same Zyuganov who already won the elections in 96 but surrendered to Yeltsin). Thought I could vote for Zhirinovsky, he's a professional clown. At least he's funny.

There is no more "democracy" in it's original meaning anymore, maybe only in Cuba or Iran. Now "democracy" is a power of "democratic" elite.

What's funny about two American parties is that they share the same name, one in Latin, another in Greek.

I love such sentences.

Only American "politicians" make such brilliant conclusions about our "elections".

All this complains about "democracy" are only because we have our own crooks in Kremlin, not US puppets like 85-99. As I said, Western-style "democracy" means electing right people, not those who are supported by voters.
