Can anyone explain what's going on there?

With this bloody elections in Russia there is nothing in the news about our Armenian brothers.

So far I only heard that a current president who lost the recent elections declared "state of emergency" and there are riots in Yerevan...

I thought it was just east of Newark.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

I can easily ask my Armenian neighbors about this... but too bad I no longer live in Los Angeles (West Hollywood to be exact) :(.

PS:  Armenians are like the White people in the Los Angeles 90029 area.  Mexicans practically flooded that place.  I lived in that area for 10 yrs by the way:)

A few links to news stories:

I personally can't stand to watch the news anymore, so I had heard nothing of this until you brought it up . . .

. . . an "election cycle" is in progress here, too . . . I guess they tend to drown out everything else no matter which country you are from.

Thanks! Funny to read news about Armenia in Western media...

Guys above probably thought I quote another the Who song. Armenia is NOT a "city in the sky"! :D
