I and a squadie were in a small furball, I had just shot down a p38 when I look down and saw my squadie shooting a smoking 109k, I dive in on the 109 to help finish him off as im doing this my squadie says hes rtb bingo ammo, he also said he got half the 109's wing, as I close in I notice this but then he makes a hard left turn and I couldnt follow him. I eventually pull back onto his 6 when he starts doing barrel roles and scizzors with only half a wing. I had no ammo and was forced to rtb. I asked the guy in the 38 who I had previously shot down who was in 109 and how he was dogfighting with -1/2 wing. He said the 109 looked like he had two wings and wasnt smoking on his screen.
