Congratulation !!!!!!!

I remember all the hard work it took to get there. I was 17 yrs old at the time. In a way soloing for the first time was the real milestone, and getting the licsense turned out to be anticlimatic.
The moment you step into an airplane for the first time sit in that still cockpit, and listen to the quiet silence and solitude in the knowledge of what you are about to do. From the whirring and electrical noises of the instruments starting up. To the sound of the engine purring and coming to life. You know you have done something that really only a few people have had the chance to do. It takes guts, smarts, confidence, skill, knowledge and finesse. And you know only you can save yourself.
Once you take to the air and those wheels leave for the first time and you are the only person in the airplane, you are alone with your own destiny. Everything you've done and learned must be counted on. You hoped you've paid attention. To the time you make that first glamorous or unglamorous landing. And you now know wherever you go, you will most likely be the only person in a 10 mile radius who has experienced this. And you live with the quiet knowledge of this experience. You will know that, throughout life only what you know and your own internal knowledge and skill will be the only deciding factor in your success. You will be alone and realize you have been the pilot all along..... of your life. And your experience has been just a metaphor, for your larger experiences. You will be changed forever.
Happy flying to you.
