If a post in a thread has any large images, it gets internal scrollbars (EVIL!), I'm guessing an iframe is being used. However, even when you do NOT have anything large that causes scrolling, it seems the iframes are still there. Hitting arrow up, arrow down, pgup, pgdwn, ctrl+home, or ctrl+end will not work when browsing a thread, even if the scroll wheel on the mouse will. Before any key can be used to move around, you have to click on the far left/right of any fo the threads to select the main thread. Otherwise it's trying to do it only in some invisible frame, which doesn't scroll (and thus your keys don't work)

Is there any way we can get rid of these frames/scrollbars?

Skuzzy, I found a bug I guess...

this thread:
http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,228846.30.html

page 3 kills Firefox. the page loads about 2/3 and just dies. I let it sit for 5 minutes and it never loads. It works fine in IE 7 but no go in Firefox.

My guess it has somethig to do with the amount of scrolling things, images, and speed of the scrolling stuff.
I don't know what to put here yet.

Well, that is unacceptable.  So we have turned off the marquee feature.

YAY!!!

I don't remember if the old forum had the ability to go back in time so easily...can that be disabled?  Can't tell you how many old threads I've seen resurrected everywhere.

The forums are loading very slowly since earlier this morning. Yesterday and this morning they were fast, dare I say "perky"....

But now they've slowed down to the point that any link clicked, any post made, replied to, and search, takes a minimum of 20 seconds before it loads past just the header (with my info in it).

We had an ad run on History channel and it seems to have drawn a crowd.

Ya I saw that, wondered if things would "load up" :)

Skuzzy, do we still have to use that separate link you gave on page 2, to access moderator control?

Add/remove people from privet BB's, so-on.

Firefox was only choking when the marquee was nested.  Is there any way to just turn off the nesting for the marquee?

I'm afraid I already know the answer but I thought I'd ask anyway, just in case.

It would not matter.  It had become a contest to see who could do the most damage.

There is no option to restrict the user of the marquee, so it is all moot.

Skuzzy - is there a language filter? If so, is it turned on?

As a follow-up, the forums are "perky" again. Seems to have been temporary.
