Why split the community?
« on: March 07, 2008, 04:12:34 AM »
I like the new "Gold Member BB" section, but im worried this might cause some divisions down the road, after all, not everbody posts as often, you know, school and work ect. Is it reasonable to penalise folks just because they dont have as many posts?

...btw, some cool preview shots of some upcoming maps and a certain 4-engined heavy. :aok

Sorry Squire but I don't see the community being split because your copper and I'm platinium.

Could be wrong, but I kinda doubt it.

What is the significance of the star ratings? And how are people being "penalized"? I don't think we get credit card miles for posting this crap on here ....do we?

1 post closer to platinumville

You see, Viper65 has the right attitude, and that will serve him well when we have another round of inductees. Learn from his example, lesser precious metals.

I'm thinking they have a greater purpose in mind to it.  More to come later.

The only real downside I see is someone spamming the boards' to try to get their rank up. Other than that, The mods' will still be the only ones to wield a PNG stick, and members' will be the only ones' allowed to post.
