Comment I made in another thread reminded me of this.
We all see them. You go to the store and someone with a new car decides to "protect it" by parking caddy corner taking up 3 parking spaces.

Pet peeve of mine. You take your chances like everyone else.

So what I do is also park caddy corner right next to them. Only I park so close to the drivers door that they have to get in the passenger side.

Especially like doing this next to Vettes and other sports cars where getting into the drivers seat from the passengers seat isnt so easy LOL

Hmmm. sounds like someone thinks he is entitled to 3 spots in a crowded parking lot.
Be happy I dont "key" em. I know a few people who have done that

OK heres another one

Telemarketers.
In spite of being on the "Do Not Call" List I still will occasionally get unwelcome calls. And not everything is covered.
I still get calls from charities I have no intention on donating to.
Political calls.
Surveys on everything from what radio station I listen to. To my shopping habits.

After having enough of and getting bored with giving the "sorry Im not interested" responce.
I've come up with new ways.

On one occasion the same lady kept calling every week to try and get me to subscribe to a newspaper.
I'd finally had enough. and as she was going through her speil I stopped her and said "Wait a second. you know. you have a really nice sounding voice.
She responds with, "why thank you"
I come back with a deep throaty voice.breathign deeply into the phone
"So tell me. Do you have large breasts"

Gutless cowards key cars. Vandals are among the lowest forms of life. If I did know one, I'd tell him to count me among his enemies, I sure wouldn't tell anyone else I know the sniveling chump.

I have done the same thing, park real close to those guys, unless they do it way in the back of a lot and out of the way from others. But when they take prime spots, I'll park next to them.

When I was younger, someone picked up and moved my motorcycle from a spot outside a club so they could park there. I removed the valves from his tires. I'm not real proud of that though. Normally I would'nt take "revenge" like that. It was late at night, so I don't think they went anywhere for awhile.

I havent had anyone wait for me.
but I have received a few pretty funny notes left on my windsheild.

I agree with NUKE thoug.
At the back of the lot or in a fairly empty parking lot I leave em alone.

But i the prime spots or when the lot is close to full.. have fun getting in chump.

  You think that's bad i drive a semi. Imagine being dead tired after putting in 14 hours of driving, loading and unloading, then you finally get to the truckstop to grab some chow and sleep. As you pull in you see a large camper/motorhome taking up 2 to 3 truck only parking spots. I'll pull just as close to them as i can then kick my idle up real high, if the noise doesn't drive them out the vibrations will. Usually by the time i come out from eating and showering they are long gone.

The poor rich bastards could care less if their nice car gets cratched or not. The ones that try to protect their cars are the ones who spent a lot of years saving to finally buy their dream car. People being what they are, it's really not uncomon to collect a new dent every other month. Parking away from the crowd in a lot is nothing to be laughted at.

I agree that parking sideway in "prime spots" is poor etiquette, but I certainly not go out of my way to make a point to those people. I don't have a mean provocating spirit, and better things to do with my life.

Talking about parking, yesterday I went to Lowes and parked my classic Firebird all the way at the end of the row, all alone, cleared every other car by 150y. When I came back to it, I had a jacket up trucks on each side. They parked so closed that it was quite an exercise of style to open those big muscle car doors and slide inside without scratching the doors.

How those guys thought it would be funny to do that is beyond me. They are defintly not the ones that spent 8 years finding the car, and an another 2 doing the body work/paint to get it back on the road. I debated setting the trucks on fire , but a confrontation would probably have been the only thing done.

well if you stupid people would learn how to open your car door without putting dents in my car i would not have to park like that. 


PS. i do what frenchy does, park as far away from other cars as possible.

I don't blame you for that, if the place is marked trucks only I think that is what it means, theres a place for campers at most truck stops. I'm really surprised you guys don't squash them

Ahhhh...we sold our '67 convertible some time back---was great mechanically, need that $3000 paint job to put it over the top, I miss it (only bad thing was it had a 350 motor out of a Catalina)

I used to drive a Karman Ghia roadster with the doors bolted shut.  If people parked like dorks at school/college I’d squeeze between them and climb out over the back.  I could fit that thing in spaces that looked impossible.

I always save a loogy or two for these people.  I am always particularly pleased when they see me hawking it up and depositing it on their car, although I'm rarely lucky enough for this.

i was trying to make a deivery and one of these people parked his porsche so we couldnt get into the dock. So we just dropped the trailer as close to the store door as we could and put the kw right behind him. took us almost 4hrs to unload. he was mad to say the least
