CV based b-25's

on history channel i saw that they launched b-25's from cv's, it would be nice to do that to make seaborne assaults better

I'm going to state the many reasons not to do this, but in a much gentler tone than most other people probably will.

• this was a one-off event
• these were specially modified B-25s, of a version that we do not have in the game, and many of their guns were replaced with broom handles
• what would this actually add to the game?
• it might be fun, but there's so many other things that would almost certainly be more fun (e.g. entirely new planes in my opinion)

Also, I'm sure that someone else will make a remark about searching before you post; I agree with this, but only because it allows you to see what the drawbacks of your idea may be.  There's nothing wrong, however, with posting about an idea even if somebody else has already done so.

Echo, this has  been discussed already before many times. Of course people would rather mock/laugh at you on the forums instead of doing something as jaw dropping as explaining the situation. For future reference, just use the search function to see if the idea you have come up w/ has already been brought up. Btw this idea is nice, but it only happened once, so due to the rarity of this event.. the chances of us getting B25s specially modified are very low

Why not just land your 25 on the cv? Then you can take off again.For added realism you could ditch in enemy territory.

Yossarian is very right, This happened once.
I also saw that thing on the history chnl. and it was very cool but minke is right...just land and reup on the carrier, not that hard?

I'm gonna applaud the restraint that many here have shown; During the voting that led to the B-25 being put in the game, It was one of the major arguments' that appeared. Along with much, MUCH flaming. You tread on Thin Ice, with this thread...

Thats why the B25 is in the game, because all those little kids wanted to take it off the CV.

Yeah, alot of people Im sure when they read this post thought "dang man did we not go over this months ago, and is there no search button that this guy might have used instead of annoying......." well something to that effect any way.
