HTC gave us weekly sneak peeks of the incoming new version.... last week no new updates, they distracted us with the BBS change.... I feel this Wednesday/Thursday we'll have new toys to play with...... :noid

What do you think?

I do not believe there will be any release in the later part of the week. It has already been said on these boards "HT will not release a product in a time frame that will require them to be in-house on the weekend to tend problems". This did not come from the powers that be but it does make alot of sense. The change will most likely be on a monday... IMHO. That way it'll get a good testing on Tooty Fruity Tuesday.

jeez...  how about just kicking whatever is available out the door already..  No one is going to complain if whatever is holding up the release gets pushed out later.

What if it is a bug fix holding the release?

also, i don't think it's that easy to just release "part" of a planned update, they'd have to re-write the coad...

also, doing another tiny update for 1 or 2 things doesn't make sense either. you double you work as you have to write a new patch for the small things, then another version of the cumulative pack for those that missed the big update a few days or a week ago.

Many times they have released plane updates on Wednesdays or Thursdays. They've rarely released them on Mondays.

I'd say "probably not" to a release in this week, but I'm still so flabbergasted at the surprise after surprise for this upcoming update that I honestly can't even GUESS as to when it'll be out!

I say there's a 1 in 3 chance. Either we get something next week, or we get new screenshots this week, or we get the update this week. I don't think the last option is going to happen but it's just a hunch.

(Prove me wrong, HTC!)

I think it will be sometime soon.
Alot of games will be getting updates on the 11th, and true to form (for some reason) multiple game companys with good (steady) production output and a strong player base often release updates and new version all at the same time.
Maby its some kinda gaming community under world battle or something, mass updates huge data transfers, hundreds of thousands of players talking biteing nails downloading and waiting for the updates.People jockying from one to the other.

To put it into perspective, i know a large handful of players who play eve and aces high, who divert to one another at will, but most always come back to the former when the (updates) start rollin' in.

For whatever its worth, i hope it is the 11th or soon after, if not..ill wait longer.

it will come out on one of the "low" days when its pisses off the fewest of players if it goes wrong... so beginning of week would make sense.

thurs-sun doesnt make much sense.

also with easter around the corner surely they wont want to release near then because they will be "off" that weekend.... so not to take the piss but i think its 2 weeks at least (ie just after easter :p)
