EPIC FAIL!!

Goto Google and type in "French military victories", then hit "I'm feeling lucky".
Here lie these men on this sun scoured atoll,
The wind for their watcher, the wave for their shroud,
Where palm and pandanus shall whisper forever,
A requiem fitting for heroes

Does anyone know if any of the crew were lost?

If so, it really isn't appropriate to be making jokes about this.

Was just going to say the same thing and THREE CREWMEN were missing.   The white patch is a parachute that was going to be used to scuttle the wreckage, but they figured the three crewmen were IN the wreckage.    The chute was not lit.

Laugh it up gents.   Simply pathetic that folks find humor in this picture.
