Pc Sync..

I recently bought a usb cable for my cell phone. I wanted to transfer music from my pc to my phone. I can do it so far. I know I need a pc sync software program. I was wandering if any of you know of any places to download it off the net. I have a LG VX 8550 phone. I wanted to make the music into ringtones but need this software.

Did you make sure you can't just choose a regular sound file as ringtone?  I don't know how common it is, but my Nokia 5300 does it and it's not that high-tech a phone.

well see i am not sure. I can put the files on my phone with a usb cable they have to be a mp3 though but i cant set them as a ringtone. I am not sure if they have to be made smaller of what but they wont go over to a ringtone.

It could be that they need to be a specific mp3 format..  What're the formats that do work?

i dont think any all i think is that they have to a mp3. I think they need to be shortned down from like a 3 min song to like a 15 sec song. I am clueless due to the fact I have no clue what I am doing

I'm just guessing too. The phone's user's manual ought to have something about the sound files it can play.
