Frenchy,

the Su-25T is nice add on with lots of cool features but for the non-ground pounder, there are some minor ground texture upgrades that do little for gameplay enhancement.  Consider it for the great implementation of the Su-25T but not for enhancements in any other part of the program.

I am personally really looking forward to the Black Shark; at one time it was an add-on for LOMAC but will become a standalone sim.

Yes. FM / DM of Su-25T is truly worth the purchase. I usually use it as a 'civilian sim' and just fly around, do touch-n-go's. It is still the only aircraft in any of sims out there that pilot can bust tires by being to reckless...heck, you can re-do that video of F15 high-speed landing with probably exactly same results.

I avoided FC simply because it used Starforce.

I ear you, the SU25T with his array of toys look really cool. I'm turned off by the fact that the FM improvement was not transfered to other aircrafts, and that there's still not a dynamic campaign, got I hate self created missions. I think that Starfarce is not installed if you download FC.
Black Shark is going to be very cool for a flaper sim, would be nice to have the Hind/Apache/cobra flyable too, will see.

I'm still waiting for a cool jet sim out of the box, Flanker series are getting close.

For the ones with FC with a remote love for Mirages 2000C/D/5, Mirage F1 I eard good things about the Armee De l'Air MOD at ADA-MOD.org. Reworked Mig cockpit and weapons.

I'm sorry to say it, - but even downloadable version has starforce -- and it only has 5 'reinstall' activations. It's possible to go around those 5 reinstalls, but a lot of hassle.

I recommend finding boxed FC....with latest patch StarForce checks CD only once a week.

FC = ?   :confused:

Looked it up. Lock on and newest addition is flaming cliffs.

How is lock on for a stand alone box game? I ahven't bought an air combat game for a long time and MS fllight sim bores me to tears.

Find "Lock-on Gold", it comes with everything released so far.

FC2 is out. Basically it's updated LOMAC with FC1 included and better graphics.

Looks like fun, wanted to try something modern so I bough a boxed copy. spent a few hours trying to set up key/hotas assignments and views and ... completely lost interest. seriously, theres like 300 things to assign and I just couldnt be bothered. and I'm pretty patient with that kind of stuff usually...

Too many widgets to deal with then. I'll pass on the game.

Oooh - I just installed FC2 last night. What a blast again! It has native Win7 support now and the performance is much better than before. Gotta re-learn all those key-commands and radar functions and sub-functions again!

The Su-25T ground attack missions are the best.

On SimHQ some people describes it as an add-on to lo-mac, while on the LockOn homepage it looks like a complete standalone package.

Which is it - do I need to have lo-mac installed first?

I ordered FC then realised it needed lockon installed first - its an addon.

if anyone can give some hints on how to set up the views I might have another go at it. made me appreciate how easy the view system in AH is :aok

edit: looks like FC2 might be a standalone game, I had FC 1.12 which is an addon.
