Yeah they look like the RATO's, could have been a glitch.

I gave oil leaks to ALL engines on an entire flight of 234s (6 smoking engines) and fuel leaks to the lead and one drone..  after diving from 3 oclock in the jug..  emptied ENTIRE remaining ammo load of just over 1200 rounds into one drone from dead 6 D800 to 1.0 as they were pulling away ...  many many many many hits.

the bombers kept flying due north and flew off the map (red arrow)  I watched them on the map..  eventually the arrow disappeared..  at the point they left the map, they were heading due north, their nearest base was due south and 4 sectors away..

I seriously doubted any,, let alone ALL of them could have RTBd.. given the distance, altitude, and damage taken..

sat on the runway for half an hour after that..  no kills, no assists.. :cry

have film  (long film lol)

what I would question is you have 1057mb of video ram and your only using 7.1mb of it  :huh

Your also using quite a bit of system memory?

I would suggest you look at your video settings your text shouldnt look that crappy either.
