How Far
« on: March 12, 2008, 10:57:14 PM »
My father and I fly almost everyday together and it is hard to keep up with him some times as he banks over and I look down and it’s 10 to 1 (him being the 1).   I say ok here we go again, but by the time I get down to him, he has already shot down 3.

Anyway I was just wondering the age range of the Aces high pilots, I’m 51 and my father Fisher01 is 73.

I was wondering how far does the age range go?

Yeah Vilkas is in his last 70's and little Zach is a great little kid. Cracks me up listening to him on VOX. He's not annoying to me at all. Unlike a lot of the young one we have playing. So to answer your question age disperity is very wide.

Worked with a guy in the TA last night who said he was born in 1920.

He flew pretty well for being 87.

I know I'm 55 and hope to be able to keep doing this for another 10 years at least.

Several in our squad are in their 50s and 60s. We have quite a few in the mid teens as well.

Saying that Vilkas is "in his last 70's" sounds rather morbid; don't you think?

Maybe he meant he wears a silk shirt and bellbottom slacks and flys listening to the Bee Gees.

BTW my Wife says I'm 14.  :D

There's a couple of really old guys in the 479th.  Every time we see Noamo and tkor, we shout out "You're alive!" not because they survived being ganged but because they're so old we need to remind them sometimes.

21.  Have been for 20-some years.  I keep trying to get my Dad (82) playing, but he's still pretty busy with retirement.
