New Dodge Challenger
« on: March 13, 2008, 04:31:55 AM »
Was at the doctors office today and was reading a car magazine when I came across this, Dodge is coming back out with the Challenger, it looks alot like the old Challenger, it even comes in Hemi orange.  Starting price on it though is $40,000, but if I had the money I would definitely buy one.

The local dealer told me he's already got every last one that was headed his way bought, with some people paying 5k over sticker.

That thing is wayyyyy over priced. I get those HP and torque numbers with less weight and a lot less money in my GTO. However, I do like that Orange. I hope that when Chevy releases the new Camaro, they have "Hugger Orange" available, if so I am buying one. If not, then I am perfectly happy driving my GTO around town.

13 MPG in city driving.   What a great idea of a car to bring to market as gas is nearing $4.00 a gallon.

No wonder Chrysler went bankrupt.

The first thing that I think about when looking for a hot rod is gas mileage.

I think if you can afford a $40'000 car, you're not really worried about $4 a gallon.

Exactly, if you can afford to drop $40,000(and thats just base price), gas prices aren't that big a deal for you.
