Berkley has it's purpose. Makes a good example for parents as to why kids should not do drugs.

No, I believe that would be the right to bear arms.

Guns are banned in Berkeley.  ;)

hell, i just hope that skuzzy knows better than to let these political threads keep going, its sad that almost everyone on this planet says one thing and does another on a regular basis, myself included. this is all just screwed up and i hope to god that this thread and others like this get locked

after this post, im going to withdraw myself from any politics in any part of the internet, it's sort of sad really

It actually would be sad if you withdrew from the discussion. Instead why don't you come back with a reasonable, well thought out argument to express your view on the issue. You don't seem to have a problem with code pink demeaning our armed forces, now tell us why and try to persuade us to agree with you. ;)

why don't all of you shut the hell up. I know there are some crazy people in berkeley, but there are also crazy people EVERYWHERE!

why don't you all actually go over there and see what it's like!
its not all a bunch of protestors saying everything is boinked up, the show took just one point of view and then just bashed it to death for comedic humor. also if all the news you get is from COMEDY CENTRAL you need to take a good look at yourself and say where the hell did i go wrong!

im disgusted at the fact that all of you just take 1 stance due to something you saw on T.V. and then think it's true. if everything on t.v. is true, then japanese people CAN shoot lasers out of their hands and other bullpoop stuff like that is true

go and research the whole story and then talk, until then, Shut the bloody hell up you rightwing nut-jobs
..actually, it IS

Berkeley, California is more crazy than your average town.   The city council there did not outlaw public nudity until 1993.  And that was only because they became under increasing pressure from citizen complaints about the infamous "Naked Guy" walking all over town in the nude.  He even organized some nude protests, in favor of getting public nudity accepted in Berkeley.

Reluctantly, after debating for several months, the Berkley city council finally outlawed people being totally nude in public.

So if you now visit Berkeley, you have to keep your genitals covered up while in public.

The irony of someone with a peace symbol for their avitar opening a post by telling everyone to shut the hell up is not lost on this thread where blonde left wingers are being quoted as saying "they have more free speech rights than others". Hell... it adds an exclamation point to the whole thing.

You know it was the crack down on bath-house sex that has you so upset. But go ahead and pretend it was the gun ban.

Free speech is important, and I would defend to the death Gowan's right to tell everyone else to shut up.

Same here, along with everyone's right to tell him how foolish he looks doing it.

How ironic- the Marine recruiting office in Berkeley used to be a gay bath house.
