VMF-251's AAR has been posted, and can be read under the FSO section at the squadron headquarters. The attack on Dutch Harbor by VMF-251 and Fighting 31 illustrates one of the key challenges faced by the Japanese in this campaign, as it took 4 of 7 Vals (one disco'ed and couldn't get a response from mystic2 to reup) to knock out the VH even though all our eggs were on target, and the 7.7mm lack the punch for effective strafing. Fortunately the Tomcatters were able to put a few bombs in to clean up some of the leftovers, but the IJN is clearly at a disadvantage in offensive punch with the standard MA hardness.
